Chinese New Year

My family and I celebrated Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year has a duration of 15 days but my family and I usually only celebrate the first 3 days of the Chinese New Year and Chinese New Year eve. On Chinese New Year eve, we will celebrate it by going to my aunt house and eat together for dinner. My aunt's house is only a few blocks away from mine. After dinner, we will go home. My sibling and I usually sleep after the clock struck 12 as we believe that by doing this our parents will live longer. The first day of Chinese New Year, we wake up early and go to my aunt's house to receive red packets. During the afternoon, we went to my uncle's house and we ate lunch there. My paternal aunts and uncle was there too. We chatted for quite sometime and they gave us red packets before leaving as we seldom meet. The second day of of Chinese New Year, my family and I went to Malaysia to visit my Aunts and Uncle we usually reach there in the afternoon. We will chat and play with my cousin and aunt until dinner. We will eat and watch television together after dinner, On the third day of Chinese New Year, my aunts will give us red packers in the morning. In the afternoon, we proceed on our journey home. At night, my aunt will come to my house for dinner. I felt safe and comfortable in such a cosy family. I love my family very much. :)
